Before I get in to the music, this past week we suffered the worst attack on Asians since the pandemic began, and racists like our previous President blamed COVID-19 on an entire race. 8 people (Soon Chung Park, Daoyou Feng, Delaina Ashley Yaun, Paul Andre Michels, Xiaojie Tan, Hyun JungGrant, Sun Cha Kim, Yong Ae Yue) were murdered by a white supremacist. We’ve also seen other brutal attacks and killings going on. It is up to all of us to stand up against this hatred, racism, misogyny that continues to permeate America. See something, say something, do something. Please pay attention, and help others. See the links below for how you can help and assist. There are more out there, but I wanted to collect a handful here. I have been enjoying not just K-Pop for 2 decades, but have been consuming Asian culture, entertainment, and food for most of my life. Saying nothing, promoting nothing, and doing nothing is something I simply can’t allow. I hope anyone who comes here to indulge in the K-Pop fandom also takes action. Please don’t remain silent if you love and celebrate the music I collect here weekly.
