SURPRISE! This is the beginning of a number of trips down memory lane I previously did not expect to make. Yet here I am, and I’m ready to present to you the first of hopefully many Top 100 K-Pop Music Videos of years past. This inaugural post I decided to start from the year prior to my first ever end of year playlist. 2014 was the first time I put together a list longer than 20 songs, and it was a Top 60 not 100 back then. 2013 was a rushed together Top 20 list at the time, and one that was good but not up to any standard I have for my newer lists.
So below you will find the playlist for the year of 2013, and I have to say I am super happy with the list I came up with in only about 2 to 3 weeks time. It gave me a nice break from working on the 2021 list, so I really dug in and made this list the best I could. I began by going through as many music videos as I could find and initially had about 176 songs compiled. I whittled that down and got revisit music I love and still listen to constantly, as well as find old favorites I forgot about. I hope everyone has a similar experience while checking out these 100 songs from 2013, and finds new music to love as well.
Currently this is a YouTube only playlist, similar to my 2014 list, as its hard to find some of the music on Spotify. I will eventually get around to it and compile whatever can be found, but I really wanted everyone to enjoy the music videos first. So prepare yourself and start enjoying these classic K-Pop songs! Will I revisit 2014 next or go to 2012? Only one way to find out, and that is to keep checking back!
