Metallica – Metallica – Rating: 5 / 5

I got so amped when this came up as the pick. I played my CD of this album so many times as a kid. So once I got home from an errand, I put it on full blast… Sorry neighbors. Album still rocks out and I was singing along as loudly as possible to many tracks. This album was peak Metallica for me personally, and I know early Metallica diehards would scoff at me saying that. Yet while I love Metallica prior to this album, this is my absolute favorite of theirs.

This is just a quick rating for the packaging and vinyl. The vinyl outer sleeve is a Gatefold that opens up to reveal an image of the band hanging out together. It’s of sturdy quality, and includes a printed inner sleeve for the vinyl itself. The vinyl itself is a coke bottle clear, which I tend to find kind of boring, but it plays and sounds fantastic.
