It’s now 2025 and I have another 100 songs that I truly loved and believe everyone should hear. Unfortunately as I ended 2024 talking about how the NewJeans vs HYBE/ADOR scandal affected that years Top 100, it continues to affect it in 2025 and will most likely be a permanent boycott based on recent aggression by ADOR. So once again any artists under HYBE sub-labels were not listened to, and will not be represented again. Regardless of that issue, I felt like this list stands strong with amazing new music. Color me surprised that a movie dropped this year that would then feature 4 songs on this list. K-Pop Demon Hunters was that good. Sorry that “Your Idol” just barely missed the cut, but I liked Soda Pop just a bit better.
Just a reminder that my lists are based on my personal preferences and enjoyment of songs, and I do not take into consideration video views, album/song rankings or sales, or wins/awards. I am always going to focus on showing off my love for K-Pop, and not just follow the fandom faves. You can have open discussions about my list, but any personal attacks or insults will not be tolerated.
