Daily 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die selection:
Keith Jarrett – The Köln Concert – Rating: 4.75 / 5
Going into this album and knowing it was going to be a solo piano album spanning over an hour long, I was a bit nervous. I am glad to report this album is a jam session in which you can really just sit back and enjoy. It’s wild how he manages to turn the piano into an instrument that can just jam out at times. I will say the grunts and moans at times kept throwing me off, but the music was so good, I quickly just let it go and kept listening intently. Definitely deserves its spot

All Time Low – So Wrong It’s Right – Rating: 4.25 / 5
I’ve known of All Time Low due to them being from Baltimore, Maryland. yet I couldn’t have named a song if you asked me, and my only real interaction with the band wasn’t with their music, but a local brewery did a collaboration beer project with them. Good beer I must say, even if that brewery is gone now sadly. I can say this album is great, and while I may not have known a track title, I definitely recognized “Dear Maria, Count Me In”. Glad this one got recommended to me, as I can say it was a blast to listen to.
