Happy Mondays – Bummed – Rating: 2 / 5

Well I can tell you one thing, I was definitely bummed after listening to this album. Another Brit bias pick that is underwhelming and made my Thursday morning unhappy. I don’t even know what to say about this album. It was so middling, that it just kind of formed one long track. Nothing stood out, it just felt like an album that happened and I’ll never think of again.

AYA A.K.A. PANDA – ASTER – Rating: 3 / 5

This album uses a hell of a lot of autotune. I’m not against autotune, and many of the songs use it just fine, but some of the songs are too overwhelming. On “Tokyo Fly Girl” I thought she had a feature because it sounded nothing like her from most of the other tracks. Honestly this album being almost 50 minutes long, the autotune just wore out its welcome too fast. The production, while good, is not good enough to make the album one I would go back to.
