I really wanted to like this album, because the group showed a lot of promise throughout the record. Unfortunately it feels like when they were asked what direction they wanted to take the album, they just said “YES”. The sound is all over the place, and not just track to track, which wouldn’t have been as big of an issue. The problem is that many of the songs are jumping around in style and with no flow to it, just jarring transitions. This just feels like wasted potential, and sadly not an album you must hear before you die.

That first song almost made me regret hitting play on this album a friend recommended me. Thankfully everything after that made this album a fun ride. I skipped the whole emo rock thing all the way up to 2024, so continuing to hear more of this has been refreshing for the most part. This album rocked and that hidden song Blood just made me laugh out loud, which I needed as I was internally raging at work.
