Daily 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die selection:
Beck – Sea Change – Rating: 3.75 / 5
After hearing Odelay all the way through for the first time recently, and not really enjoying it, I was a bit nervous. Thankfully this album was less irritating due to Beck not inundating the listener with annoying sound effects that was driving a neurodivergent person like me insane. I found myself enjoying this album much better, and really enjoying the more toned down, somber tone Beck was relaying through the music.

Vinyl Spins:
Jordana – Lively Premonition – Rating: 4 / 5 – Vinyl/Packaging Rating: 4 / 5
Jordana is an artist I’ve only learned about in the last year plus, but she has quickly become a favorite. For the most part this new album is more of the great indie pop mixed with rock style I loved from her previous albums. I just really only have one issue with this album and it is track “Multitudes of Mystery”. The track contains too much talking, and the way the people talk is so grating on me. So the only good thing with the track is that it was the final track on Side A of the vinyl, so I could quickly swap out to get back to listening to the rest of the album. The vinyl itself is a nice solid blue, and I had no issues with playback. The outer sleeve is sturdy with some colorful artwork.
