G-Nitro’s Daily Music Wrap-Up (Weekend Edition) – 12/13/24 to 12/15/24

So this past weekend I was on a trip to Delaware to meet up with friends for our annual Extra Life charity session. For those who don’t know, Extra Life is a gaming charity that raises money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and you’re supposed to do a gaming marathon to raise donations and awareness. I was able to not just meet my $500 goal this year, but surpass it a bit, which was a nice surprise since I signed up just days before the event. Thanks everyone who helped out and my friends who make this such a fun event every year. Now on to the music! This post collects 3 days worth of music, so be prepared for a lot of music videos and 3 1001 Albums challenge choices.

The Cure – Disintegration – Rating: 4 / 5

Another enjoyable album from The Cure. Sometimes the melancholy music is just what I need in the morning. I’m glad this list has gotten me to listen to full albums by some of the bands from youth I just knew by singles.

Black Sabbath – Paranoid – Rating: 5 / 5

Classic Black Sabbath album. Was listening to this one on my drive back from Delaware this weekend and just rocking out the whole album. Such a fantastic listen.

Travis – The Man Who – Rating: 1.5 / 5

After Black Sabbath, this was the next album up on the drive home… And unfortunately this was yawn inducing. It was so dull and uninteresting. Not sure how anyone decided this slop was an album that needed to be listened to before one dies. Don’t bother!
