Yeah I made it through track 4 before I said hell no. This era of metal to me was never my thing. It just grated on my nerves until I said “Fuck This!” and hit the stop button, and went to listen to some vinyl instead.

Kendrick Lamar – GNX – Rating: 5 / 5

What a fantastic surprise this album drop was, and it is easily a contender for best album of the year. Kendrick spares nothing as he drops fire from start to finish, but what easily sealed this album for me is “Reincarnated”. The beat and flow are so reminiscent of Tupac, that I get literal goosebumps every time that song comes on. If you’re a hip hop head, this is a can’t miss.
