Metallica – Master of Puppets – Rating: 4.5 / 5

Another Metallica classic on this list. Out of their albums prior to the Black album, this is definitely my favorite among them. The album is only 8 tracks deep, yet spans almost an hour in length.There isn’t a bad song on this album, and even saying that, Orion is probably the best track of the eight in my opinion.

I’ve been listening to this album a lot lately. I wish it was just a little bit longer in length, but every song is fire. I think my biggest complaint is that the album features the “Woke Up (Remix)”, but not the original track itself. It felt like a crazy thing to omit. The pressing of the vinyl is absolutely amazing. It’s super clear and not a single playback issue. The outer sleeve is nice and thick with a matte finish. The only other complaint is the inner printed sleeve, as it is super thin, and I’m afraid it will eventually have a seam tear. The album also came with one random photo card, but the order I made came with 2 others included in foil packs.
