I can clearly state The Hives are not even close to being my new favorite band. Thank goodness that album was less than 30 minutes long, because I was close to just turning it off. It was just super uninteresting. Also why is a collection album on this list? That makes zero sense to me, because then any artist’s greatest hits collection could just be inserted instead of actual album releases. Nonsensical choice with this one.

I came across Kelly Finnigan via Bandcamp in 2019, and absolutely loved his singing. So when I saw a new album dropped on vinyl, it was a quick purchase for me. This album once again showcases Finnigan as an absolute amazing singer of that old school soul. The way he sounds like that old school Motown crooner with matching production, he is a must listen for fans of that sound. The vinyl packaging is fantastic too. A brown swirl vinyl in a high quality anti-static sleeve. The outer sleeve is thick and saturday with high quality images, and includes a paper insert with lyrics.
