Super Furry Animals – Fuzzy Logic – Rating: 1.5 / 5

More Brit bias incoming! And to no one’s surprise, it sucks. From the singer’s voice down to the fact the music fails to bring a retro sound to the ‘90s scene, it’s just an overall poor experience. I listened to most of the album, but one of the last 3 or 4 tracks was so downright annoying, I just hit stop. I couldn’t take the grating on my ears.

Saury – さうりのルーム – Rating: 3.25 / 5

Saury tends to be a very consistent artist when it comes to Future Funk, but this album was a bit of a let down. It’s very well done in production, but it’s not as memorable as past projects. The songs on the album just never felt like there was enough variety. At around 22 minutes in length, I decided to toss it on while making dinner. When the final note finished playing, I was genuinely confused and thought I had only listened to a single 22 minute track.
