It comes that time to showcase my favorite albums of the year, and I saw a lot of people on the Fediverse talking about 50 albums for their own personal lists, so I figured why not. This year I have decided to use Songlink embeds instead of Spotify, and I hope they won’t shut down like Songwhip did last year. Songlink should provide a link to nearly every platform, and if they don’t have the album, I will embed the Spotify link. While I may have been a bit down on the K-Pop release since 2024, I can say I was happy with much of the other music being released I checked out. Below are some absolutely fantastic albums that I really enjoyed and listened to over and over. So I hope everyone else enjoys the albums below and finds something they like. One final note, all albums are not in any type of order, and I will include one large Spotify Playlist at the very bottom of the post with all the albums together.
