Erykah Badu – Mama’s Gun – Rating: 3.5 / 5
I was never a big fan of Erykah Badu back in her prime, and 26 years later I definitely enjoyed this album more after not allowing my bias from back then cloud my mind. It has the same problem that yesterday’s album did, which is being too long. Being around an hour and 15 minutes was a detriment to my enjoyment. If this had been around 50 minutes, the album would be rated much higher.
