It’s been over a year since I tackled the 2004 Top 100 in K-Pop, and I finally motivated myself to return and put together the 2003 Top 100. Once I started working on this and just being reminded of all the great songs that came out, I kind of couldn’t stop myself from working on it multiple days a week over the past month. It was funny when I got the cream of the crop from this year, because there was never any doubt as to what the #1 song was going to be. I began with nearly 250 videos on the YouTube playlist, before it got down to the 100 you will be able to enjoy below.
Also as with other years in the 2000’s, I tried my hardest to find as many official music videos and stage performance videos as I could. Some performances I pulled may be more recent than 2003 to ensure I found an official performance of a song (and some 2003 releases were still being performed in 2004), but some videos on the YouTube playlist are from 3rd party uploaders as it was the best I could find. As for the Spotify playlist, I was only able to find 84 of the 100 songs from the YouTube playlist, so definitely check out YouTube for the full list before going to Spotify.
