G-Nitro’s Daily Music Wrap-Up (Weekend Edition) – 12/05/25 to 12/07/25

This past weekend was the annual Extra Life event with friends in Delaware, so the last few days are being wrapped up once again in a larger post. There are 3 of the daily 1001 album picks, and a decent amount of videos for your enjoyment.

Daily 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die selection:

Astrud Gilberto – Beach Samba – Rating: 4 / 5

Solid album, but never gets to the level where I can rate this a 4.5 or higher. It’s a solid 4.

Ute Lemper – Punishing Kiss – Rating: 0.5 / 5

Nope… this was just bad, and features some of my most hated artists.

Jamiroquai – Emergency On Planet Earth – Rating: 3.75 / 5

If this was the 90’s I’d despise this choice, as I couldn’t stand Jamiroquai. 30+ years later and a much more open mind really allowed me to enjoy this. It was a fun and groovy album.
