So 2018 is nearing a close, and I think it is time to start putting up some of the best of what 2018 had to offer over the next couple weeks, since when the New Year hits I will be posting my Top 100 K-Pop. So while everyone awaits the K-Pop playlist, here is a playlist featuring 30 of my favorite songs that aren’t K-Pop. I tried to narrow it down to my favorite 20 songs, but it just wasn’t happening. Featuring Steve Aoki, BTS, Childish Gambino, Jorja Smith, Kailee Morgue and more, you can also find a bonus comedic song from SNL that really made me laugh. I spent a long time arguing whether K/DA “Pop/Stars” should be K-Pop or not, but I finally decided I couldn’t classify it solely as K-Pop, so it wound up in this playlist.
